It’s important for local students and families to learn where their food comes from and what better place to learn it than right on the farm themselves! Five generations of farming has instilled in us a strong work ethic and a passion for sharing our farm with the surrounding communities in a fun yet educational way. Since the majority of people today are distantly removed from Agriculture, we have opened our barn doors to the community and invite youth 7-13 years old to our farm through our Farmstead Adventure Camp program.
In its 12th year, our summer program teaches youth where their food comes from in a very unique way as they learn hands-on from milking cows, feeding calves, and so much more. We believe that students learn more effectively when they’re having fun!
